Renovation Insurance Quote
If you’re planning a DIY home
improvement project or are renovating your home, you’re probably
dreaming of the potential long-term profit that could be made as a
result. Imagine the impact that losses such as fire, theft, flood
and accidents would have on your finances and the disruption they
would cause to the renovation planning and the house construction
work itself.
If you’re buying a property to renovate
and aren’t going to be starting work just yet, it is essential that
your home renovations insurance cover is in place before you
commence work. This includes Public Liability which is an essential
form of cover to protect your legal liability to compensate third
parties for personal injury should an incident occur at that
property.
The Renovation Insurance Policy enables
those converting or renovating their own property, including
barns, to create a package of insurance to suit their needs.
The conversion insurance provides
Employers Liability, Public Liability, Contract Works and cover for
existing structure. This meets the requirements of Banks and
Building Societies.

Major Renovation Insurance
If you are taking an active role in the management of your
renovation project and will be responsible for hiring tradesman or
direct labour, plant, tools, equipment and will be purchasing all
the materials, then the Major Renovation package will be suited to
your needs. Cover is available on a project basis in 6 month periods
up to a maximum of 12 months duration and will cover the Existing
Building and New Works irrespective of whether it’s occupied or not.
